Weather on Oahu is best described in terms of Winter and Summer and even the peak of these seasons have only moderate changes in temperature. The Summer season runs from May to October, while the somewhat cooler winter season extends from November through April. Oahu's summer months tend to be mostly sunny to partly cloudy throughout the island, while the winter months bring an increase of clouds and periodic rain showers. The winter showers do not normally disrupt vacationers' plans because they are relatively few periods of long rain. The day-time high temperatures in Honolulu during the summer averages: 85 to 87 degrees F (29.4 - 30.6 C) with night time lows of 70 to 74 (21.1 to 23.3). Winter day time high temperatures averages: 70 to 74 degrees F (21.1 - 23.3C) and night time lows are 65 to 69 degrees (18.3 - 20.6 C). Beachfront temperature varies from its summer time highs: approximately 82 degrees (27.8 C) to a low of about 76 degrees (24.4C) during the coolest winter months.
