Ongoing - MAYOR'S PERFORMANCE - CULTURE AND THE ARTS: 

bulletMayor's Aloha Friday Music Break featuring different music from Hawaiian to jazz to pop. Held Fridays, Noon to 1:00 p.m. at Tamarind Park (Bishop and King Streets, Honolulu)
bulletRoyal Hawaiian Band. Fridays, 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Iolani Palace, Honolulu, and Sundays, 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. at Kapiolani Bandstand, Waikiki.
bulletStrolling Hula along Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki. Fridays from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
bulletSunset Torch Lighting and Hula Show, Molehu I Waikiki (Twilight in Waikiki) Every Saturday and Sunday at twilight. Conch-shell herald, torch-lighting ceremony, Hawaiian music and hula pageant by celebrated halau.  Beautiful new location, at the Beach Center on the Ocean Promenade in Kapiolani Park. Ongoing - ZOO FENCE ARTISTS, Monsaratt Avenue, Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki, Every Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Meet the artists at this outdoor art show. Originals and prints available for sale. Free. Call: (808) 923-4354.

Ongoing - PLANTS OF PARADISE - GARDEN TOUR, Daily at 12:30 p.m.
at the Bishop Museum, 1525 Bernice Street, Honolulu. An engaging tour of beautiful Hawaiian plants and their traditional uses. Meet in front of the museum's Hawaiian Hall. Call: (808) 847-3511.

Ongoing - GUIDED TOURS OF THE HAWAII THEATRE, Hawaii Theatre, Chinatown, Honolulu. 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, Time: 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The one-hour guided tour offers a unique insight into the history, art, architecture and restoration of the beautiful Hawaii Theatre. The tour includes a performance on the 1922 Robert Morton Theatre Organ. Admission $5. Call: (808) 528-0506.

Ongoing - BANDSTAND CONCERT, Every Friday,  5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., Kapiolani Park Bandstand, Waikiki. A different free concert every Friday night featuring Hawaiian and other musical performances. Free parking, great music and the best sunsets in the world! Presented by the City Office of Waikiki Development.
